First blog on the new website! I wanted to create a place to update family and friends about the pregnancy and the baby (when he/she arrives!) We are currently at 15.5 weeks which is month 4 out of 10 (for those who are confused - you are actually prego for 10 months and not 9). Chris and I will find out the gender in early March and it feels like forever until then! Right now, the websites state that Baby McCully (or Peanut) is about 5 inches long and weighs about 2.5 ounces. I am starting to feel a little tight in my clothing even though I have only gained 3 pounds, but that is very much expected! I am scouting out locations to purchase plus size maternity clothes, which will be a chore, so I might just have to sew them myself! We have another appt to hear the heartbeat on 02/09/2007 when Peanut will be 17 weeks old, and then 3 weeks after that - the gender! Last time the heartbeat was 150 - that could mean (if we believe old wives tales) that it is a girl or it could be the baby was hyper due to the soda I had that AM, b/c I was really tired. For the appt on the 9th I promise that I will have NO caffeine prior to that we can get a better feel on the OWT!Chris and I are happy for either gender, we are just too too excited to know if we are buying pink and ruffles or blue and footballs!
