Family and Friends,
I am truly sorry that it has taken so very long for me to post the gender! It has been a week that blew up at work and I am sorry. Monday morning was filled with immense excitements and nervousness as we waited for the appointment. And you would know it that we had ti wait about 45 minutes in the waiting room until we were finally called back to the ultrasound room. It had to be the longest 45 minutes of my life. Let me tell you that the little bugger has it's legs crossed and arms covering itself when we began. My heart sank - I think you could have almost seen it on the US it sank so low - but the tech started to locate other things that made me excited again. Kidneys - Healthy. Bladder - Healthy. Spine - looked great. Head measured good as well. Then the baby fell asleep. Nice, and that is when the prodding and jigging began. The tech was trying to get a view of the heart to make sure it had all the ventricles that it needed. The little "toot" as she called it would not share that information, so another US is needed in April to take another look. Some other information was shared when the baby finally stretched out it's legs preparing for it's nap. It then showed us the gold mine! The tech pointed out two dots and what was in between was the news we had been waiting for. It is a BOY!
Little Thayer Dean measured at 20 weeks and 3 days and the due date is still set for July the 20th!
Follow the link below and see what room decor Chris and I have decided on for Thayer's room!

Thayer's first golf shoes are on order and his first lesson is in November - not that he will learn much at 4 months!
Hugs!
