It is really hard to believe that I am in the third trimester and nearing the end - less than 9 weeks to go! This pregnancy has been FLYING by! If I can take a moment to mention that I am totally exhausted and I have not cleaned my house since the baby shower 2 weeks ago. There is still confetti on several tables, bottles that I want to clean before putting up and here and there bits and bobs that need to be put away. Thank goodness for my hubby and his ability to do dishes, laundry, putting cradles together, kitty litter...the list goes on and on! Thank goodness for my mom too who helped pick up and put away before her flight took off - if she did not, I am sure that stuff would still be sitting around the house.
On another note, the cradle arrived from James Huey (mom's hubby) on Friday and it is a gorgeous handcrafted oak! What was amazing to me as Chris was putting it together was that it reminds me of the quality crafting that the pioneers had and not this cheap particle board/plastic mix that stores are selling these days. This piece could last hundreds of years and maybe will be used great-grandchildren of Chris and mines! ZONKS! Once it is set up and in position, I will snap a photo and post it. I need to move a full length mirror, dresser and chair in our room to make way! Well, maybe Chris will shift the furniture and I will direct traffic! The only thing that remains is the cushion for the cradle - I know mom wants to make it, but I might do it in spare time, if I have the energy!
Change in subject again! Went to the community pool twice this weekend and my hip feels GREAT! It only popped out 3 times this weekend, but I was able to pop it back in myself! In hopes to hit up the pool 3 times a week to work it out and get a little exercise!
More later! FYI, Thayer is about 16 inches long ands weighs about 3 pounds - so the websites say! Can't wait to see him and pinch his little cheeks!
