I wish that I could say that Thayer's first pumpkin patch adventure was perfection, but sadly it was 90 degrees and bees were swarming everywhere. I guess in my mind you pick out a pumpkin when it is below 60, there is a delicate frost on the pumpkins and the air is crisp and clean. No such luck here is the grand ole stupid state of Texas when it is 90 degrees in mid October.

Now today would have been perfect b/c right now it is 48 degree! PERFECT pumpkin hunting weather! Next on the list of falls activities is finishing his Spartan halloween costume and getting ready for the birthday/costume party this Saturday! Enjoy the pics!

It is totally amazing how fast this little man is growing! This Thursday he turns 3 months old and Chris and I are amazed at how fast he is learning! Last week he began rolling from tummy to back and he is totally in love with investigating his hands, fingers and movements there in! He is getting onto his side now while laying on his back and we think that back to tummy is soon to come!
Grandma comes in town this weekend and we are totally excited for her to see his development and to have lovely chats with him. This is little man is a nonstop coo'er!
I was talking to my friend Erin about baby outfits and we were cracking up that we put babies in whatever we want and laugh our asses off at their expense! Check out his outfit above and then note that the whole morning while we were getting ready I kept stating that he was going to have "A whale of a good time at daycare..." I bet that will come back to haunt me when he is 14 and trying to become independent!

It has been a while for that I give many apologies! Thayer is nearing 3 months old and it is crazy how fast time is flying - what they say is true "time really does fly..." I have been back a work for over 2 weeks and same ole stuff different day. I am just totally tired today as we are still trying to work out why Thayer is sleeping through the night sometimes and other times - not so much!

Thayer's last appointment went really well and the doc says that he is really alert and strong. He is tall and thin! 95% for height and 50% for weight! Daycare is not going so well yet, but perhaps we need to give it more time - he seems to be upset and cries all day at the care and fine with us at night. Very sad indeed.

Grandma comes into town again in about 2 weeks and we are going to visit a pumpkin patch where Grandma can help Thayer pic out his first pumpkin! We are very excited and the Fitzpatrick's are going with us! I am sure that some pics will be posted from that weekend!
Enjoy the pic of Thayer's fourth day of school - a couple weeks back!
More to come soon!
