Well, Thayer had his 4 month appt last week and the doctor was rather surprised at how strong he is. When we told Dr. Chang that Thayer was rolling over tummy to back at 2.5 months and back to tummy at 3 he was shocked (but in a good way). When he then checked his "Brad Pitt" muscle and hips Thayer kicked him hard and pushed himself nearly into the wall the doctor laughed and told us that he was amazing strong! Thayer has for about a month been "kicking" himself along the floor. His upper body has not caught up yet, so it looks like he is doing the "wheelbarrow" without walking on his hands. I found him under the Christmas tree a couple days ago in love with the presents! We find him everywhere and all the time. What a strong boy!

Thayer has also found this thumb. He has never taken to a nuk and really does not care for anything but this hands, but last week he found his little thumb and he just squeals in delight to have it in his mouth!

Current stats are this: 45% for weight and 95% for height. Tall and skinny. I wonder where he gets that...GRANDPA!!!

I FINALLY got the photos of Thayer in his Halloween outfit. No fault of Amy's as her computer was busted...she must not have a Dell. Pleased to enjoy our Little Spartan - King Leonidas (with Momma as Holly Hobbie). I think his costume was the easiet I have ever made. Crimsion cape and brown loin cloth...done!

URINE TEST .... (I sure would like to know who wrote this one! They deserve a HUGE pat on The back!)
Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their rear ends, doing drugs, while I work. ... . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check ? Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't.... Hope you all will pass it along, though . . . something has to change in this country and soon!
