I must say that I had a lovely weekend! Friday night Chris and I did a bit of relaxing, much needed after a short but crazy week. On Saturday, we went down to south Austin or "Mexico" and visited Julia, saw her new patio tile job (lovely), ate some delicious food and played video games. When I say play, that means that Julia plays while everyone else is telling her to do this and that! It was great fun and totally relaxing!I had to leave there rather quickly to head downtown for my hot stone pedicure that I had been waiting for all week and I am sad to say that I am rather disappointed with the Milk + Honey Spa. It was roasting in the building, the in building, the was done on a bench and the stone pedi was severely lacking. I have had wonderful stone pedis in the past and I expected this one to be like them. All she did with the stones was place them b/t my toes and rub my legs with others. No pressure, no thought and no feet relief! Then to boot she cut my toe nails way too short and now they are in a bit of pain. I am very glad that I had a gift certificate b/c had I paid $80 for that I would have complained! But, I did pick up some tid bits with the remaining of my gift certificate and those are fun! Some bath bon bons, a headband - you know, girlie things!
Sunday Chris played in the Our Savior Lutheran 4th annual golf tournament (I followed in a cart) and his team came in 2nd! Not bad, as each year he has placed! It was hot and muggy yesterday and I got a nice bit of sun (protected with a low level SPF) - I told Chris that Thayer needs to see a tan mommy when he arrives and not a pale one! Once again Coach pulled off a great event and we are already looking forward to next year!
All-in-all it was a great weekend - nothing got done at the house - but great weekend!

That is so upsetting when a spa treatment is a disappointment. Thank goodness for gift certificates. But you should be wearing a higher level spf :)
I'm thinking I could use another pedi myself. Or at least a foot rub. Not to be a doom/gloom, but the leg and foot discomfort doesn't improve too much... Good thing we get a cute baby when this is all done
